Good weekend here. We had a birthday party on Saturday at Artworks. It was fun, perfect outside, the girls had a great time playing with their friends, etc. Even tho I'm still operating with a zoom lens and was backed up against the wall on almost every shot, I did manage to capture a few cuties.

** Had to get this of Lauren and all of her hair (in the pink)!! **
And today, while walking on the treadmill at the gym, I decided we should just go ahead and get Lauren's hair cut. I've been talking about doing Locks of Love with her hair for about 10 months now. We had plans to run around today and do some shopping, but then I just decided today was THE DAY! We went right from the gym to Sharkee's. It was our first time there and it was pretty busy. I put our name down for an appointment 2 hours later and off we went to Boston's for lunch. We killed the time and went right back for some pampering. They were so sweet at this place. The owner (male) was really great and treated everyone so nicely. The girls got their fingernails painted and then it was time for the cut.

When it was all said and done, we had more than 10 inches taken off. Lauren was so brave and never cried. I guess she wasn't that attached to it as I thought she was. It was Bella who told me we couldn't get HER sisters hair cut. I assured her it was for a good cause and that it would grow back. "Ok, as long as it grows back down to her butt again!", she said. I totally love this new look. She looks so different and mature. When I put my fingers through her hair now, it feels so great...and healthy...and soooo thick. Boy was she blessed with the Morelli hair. Thanks dad!
I'll have more pictures soon.

My daughter's growing hers out for Locks of Love too, but we're not quite there yet:) I have tried, but I always get so frustrated with it after it gets a certain length:(
The cut looks great and she's still got a good length left:)
OMG!!! The black and white pic of Bella looks GORGEOUS. You take some amazing pics, Gina:)
How great that she did that! I sure wish I had taken pics of mine at the salon when I did it...didn't think of it since I was so scared of getting to cut so short! But her hair looks GREAT and how brave of her!! BTW, your pics are always so amazing!! Great job!!
Those first couple of photos are GORGEOUS! And, the girls look like they had so much fun at the salon. :0) And what a brave girl you've got! I can't believe she just let them take 10 inches off! And, it's a great new cut!
I want to see it from the front, ya big teaser!
OHHH, so exciting!! I cannot believe you cut it.
AMAZING pics of the girls too. WOW, the first one of Bella is rockin'
Love these pics and the story. I had no idea her hair was so long! It looks just as adorable short.
