I'm back...

and I missed you all!! I have some major catching up to do. I had my parents visiting for 10 days and we stayed pretty busy (they love to keep busy and help me with all of my pending projects around the house!) Unfortunately we had to send them back to North Dakota today :-( So now it's time for a recap of the last few weeks!!

First off we took in a Rampage Hockey game last Friday night. It was kinda neat that SA was playing Hamilton (Ontario) and that happens to be where my dad is from!!

Next up was the BIG 3-6 for me. Yikes. I don't know if I like saying that yet. I usually don't let birthdays bother me, but for some reason...it just seems a lot closer to 40. My hubby insisted on a little party. He made his yummy fajitas and all the fixins. It was such a good time and I loved having all of our friends and family over. Thank you to all of you who came (you know who you are) and for all of the lovely gifts! The night went entirely too fast and I didn't get to talk to everyone as much as I'd hoped. Here ya go with a few pics! In case you can't tell, that's a my little pony cake (you'd never know that I have 2 little girls, huh?).

We are finally telling people. It's really exciting and scary all at the same time. I feel like I'm starting all over again. I am still training myself on what to eat/what not to eat, what to drink/what not to drink, etc. etc. etc.

Alright...that is going to have to do it for now. I hope to start scrapping again this week, so be on the lookout for some new crafty stuff!!
