Here are the layouts that I accomplished today. Feeling pretty good about it.
As you can see...most of the layouts are from our vacation to Cabo. The last one is from a while ago when the girls were looking at some of their very first scrapbooks. It made me so happy to see them enjoying the pages that I created for them. Now that it's done, tho, I'm not so sure about using purple and yellow together. It reminds me of high school colors. Bishop Ryan to be exact. Oh well. Too late.

And back to the story of my little one cutting her hair. I wasn't feeling good last night, so I went to my room to lie down. Lauren wanted to take care of me, so she came in and sat with me. Bella was content working in the kitchen with her stickers, markers, paper and SCISSORS!! Eeeck! I didn't think anything of it, since she's always been so good with them. Never ever has she tried anything. She was being so good and being that I was feeling yucky, I just went with it.
Next thing I hear is my husband in the kitchen asking Bella if she cut her hair. Huh? It took me a second to process that question. Why would he be asking her that? Then he asked her again. I jumped out of the bed so fast. I ran into the kitchen to see lots of hair all over the floor and on the kitchen table. At this point Bella is crying and I'm in shock. I keep looking at her trying to figure out what exactly she did. I looked around and realized she definitely took some big chunks of hair out of her head. I mean...this is something that only happens to someone else's kids!!
I know she didn't know what she was doing, but I still couldn't help but keep asking her why she cut her hair. Why, why, why? Lauren helped me pick up most of her hair and then we put it into a big pile (along with some stickers, glitter, etc.). Here...this is the pile-o-hair and the mess that she made at the table. LOVELY!!
I brushed her hair to access the damage and more hair kept coming out (whimper). When it finally stopped, I realized we could keep her hair as is. What she really did was put LOTS of LAYERS in her hair. There are some really big ones, but most of it blends into the rest of her head. I am thankful we didn't have to cut it all off to even it out (like I've seen with other kids).
If you survived that story...congrats! That was just a tad long, but I'm done now. Enjoy your night/day. And thank you to those who leave comments for me. It's always so nice to read your kind words.

You did all those LOs in ONE day!??! You go, with your bad self!! LOL :) Loving them all as usual! :) So sorry you weren't feeling well...but I hope you're better!
OMG..my mouth just DROPPED when I read that Bella cut her hair!! And then when I saw the pic of ALL the hair! I guess it just looks like alot and thankfully, like you said, it doesn't look bad. I did that once when I was in kindergarten I think and it was RIGHT before school pictures too, but I only cut my bangs...or half of them I think. I don't know what happened to that school group picture, but I do remember having some CROOKED bangs! LOL You definately need to scrap that!! LOL Have a great day :)
oh my! she did what???!!??!
i thought at first, a few snips right? maybe not much at all.... Wow! that picture you took looks like ALOT of her hair.
on the bright side, it will grow back! can't wait to see the page you create to go with that crazy story. i have yet to scrap J's marker drawing on my red kitchen wall, wooden floor, dish washer, washer/dryer, and frig! yep, that was my jaw dropping moment!
OMG, Gina!!! I also freaked when I read Bella cut her hair:( That DID look like alot, but thankfully you didn't have to cut it. My daughter never tried that, but she has been telling me the last couple of days that some boy at school has been cutting little girls hair!!! He better not touch mine!!! ;)
Well, I hope you are feeling better today. LOVE the LOs as always. I love how you gather the ribbon on your LOs. I can't figure out how to do it:(
Okay, we need hair pictures please! At least she didn't cut a chunk out all the way to her scal. MY sister did that right in the middle of her forehead! Nice! I'm so glad Bella didn't do any terrible damage.
