Going for a walk today...WAS THE BEST! Not only was it a nice day because my hubby came home early and took the walk with us (hence the pics), but if you look close enough, you'll see me in a SWEATER! Yes! I said sweater. It is finally FALL around here. At least for the week. I'm not sure what will happen next week for Halloween, but I will take it for a few days anyway!! Yesterday was pretty interesting. I woke up to rain and wind. I've said before that Texas doesn't get wind (at least not in SA). It was howling out! After seeing on the morning news that it was only 5o something out, we stepped out on our patio to see for ourselves. The weather people were not fibbing. Yowza! I ran to my closet and grabbed one of my favorite sweaters and brushed the dust off of my favorite pink Uggs. It was the highlight of my week :-)

The girls had their first ever Dentist appt. yesterday, too. Ya, you can say I'm a little slow. Lauren is 4 and half, so she was a bit overdue. Everything went well and they both had great reports. We discovered that Lauren has a slight gag reflex. Ok...a big one actually! I couldn't help but laugh, but the dental assistants thought otherwise!! I guess we'll try getting x-rays in 6-months again!! Now I know she can't be the first kid to have that problem. Lighten up, man!
